These terms govern your use of this website. By using it you accept them. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site.

PAKO Technology ("PAKO", "we", "us") operates this website from Nepal. PAKO Technology is not currently incorporated as a legal entity; these terms bind the people operating under that name.

What this covers

This document covers this website. It does not cover our products. tiroom and darta are supplied under their own terms, and where those terms and these ones differ, the product's own terms apply to the product.

Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance. Descriptions of what we do are descriptions, not contractual commitments. A contract for work exists only when we sign one.

Using the site

You may read this site, link to it, and quote from it with attribution.

You may not:

• use the site unlawfully, or in a way that breaches anyone else's rights;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server, or any connected system;
• interfere with the site's operation, including by automated request volume intended to degrade it;
• submit anything through the contact form that is unlawful, abusive, deliberately false, or infringing;
• scrape or reproduce the site's content at scale for a competing service.

We may restrict access if you do any of these, without notice.

The contact form

What you send through the contact form is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Do not send confidential information through it. An unsolicited message does not create a duty of confidence, a professional relationship, or an obligation on us to act.

Submissions are rate-limited. That is a protection against abuse, not a restriction on getting in touch — if you hit it, wait a minute and try again.

Intellectual property

The content of this site — text, layout, code, and the design system behind it — belongs to PAKO Technology or is used with permission.

The PAKO Technology name, logotype, monogram and brand assets are not licensed to you. The brand kit in this repository exists so that our own material is consistent. It does not grant permission to use the marks, and you may not use them to suggest an association, endorsement or partnership that does not exist.

Montserrat is used under the SIL Open Font License. Third-party software used to build the site is used under its own licences.

Links to other sites

Where we link out, we do not control what is at the other end and we do not endorse it. Following an external link is your decision and at your risk.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law permits, we exclude all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, timely, error-free, or free of anything harmful. We write carefully and we still make mistakes: nothing here is professional, legal, financial or technical advice, and you should not act on it alone.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law permits, PAKO Technology is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill or anticipated savings, arising out of your use of this site — whether the claim is framed in contract, tort, or otherwise, and whether or not we were told such loss was possible.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to this site is limited to NPR 10,000.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify PAKO Technology against any claim, loss or reasonable cost arising from your breach of these terms or your unlawful use of the site.

Suspension and termination

We may change, suspend or withdraw the site, in whole or in part, at any time. We may do so without notice, and we are not liable to you for having done it.

Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of this site, are governed by the laws of Nepal. The courts of Kathmandu, Nepal have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere you retain any right you have to bring proceedings in your own country.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms. The version on this page, with the date at the top, is the version that applies. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
