About us
Develop. Build. Scale. Grow.
A technology company building AI products and intelligent solutions. Its work spans applied machine learning, systems design and the software that connects them.
What we are
PAKO Technology builds AI products and intelligent solutions. We run our own software and take a small number of engagements each year with teams whose operations have outgrown their tooling.
The two halves are not separate businesses. Running tiroom and darta keeps us honest about what shipping and maintaining software actually costs — which is the single most useful thing to know when someone asks you to estimate theirs.
Who we work with
Operations and technical leaders at operationally complex businesses. The recognisable moment is this: the data already exists, several people can tell you roughly what it says, and nobody can act on it without a two-day reconciliation first. Another dashboard does not fix that. It usually makes it worse, because now there are two numbers.
Sector matters less than shape. We have found the same pattern in logistics, in finance, in public services and in media.
How we talk about it
We claim what we do and we name what we don't. If a rule and a lookup table would beat a model, we will say so, even when the model is the more interesting project and the larger invoice. If we think an engagement is a bad idea, you will hear that before you sign rather than in the retrospective.
That is not modesty. It is the only way to be useful more than once.
The four stages
How we think about the work.
Named the same way on every engagement, because a shared vocabulary for where you are saves more time than any process document.
Develop
Find the real problem before writing code.
Build
Ship software that survives contact with production.
Scale
Grow throughput without growing headcount.
Grow
Stay long enough to see it working.

Better systems. Bigger possibilities.
If your operation has outgrown its tools, that is the conversation we are good at.
